To many, the UAC may just be another conference, another day on the job, yet, for those that attended, it was a real opportunity to improve and be better. The goal of the conference was not just to learn something, but to contribute something by engaging in UAPA. The challenge was made to not get better just because it is a good idea, but because, as an industry, we have to. The majority of the road infrastructure in Utah belongs to us. We own it. We build it. We maintain and preserve it. Getting better is imperative, and for those that joined us for two days this past February came away with the tool to be better and do better.
